En un día como hoy pero de 1989, el álbum debut de Nirvana, Bleach, es lanzado. Las primeras 1.000 copias fueron impresas en vinilo blanco. Las segundas 2.000 copias incluían un poster de edición limitada. Sub Pop describió la música de la banda en su copia promocional de Bleach como “pesadez hipnótica y justa de estas estrellas pop de Olympia, son jóvenes, poseen su propia furgoneta, nos van a hacer ricos”

In a day like today but in 1989, Bleach is released. The first 1,000 copies were printed on white vinyl. The second 2,000 copies included a limited edition poster. Sub Pop described the band’s music in their promotional copy for Bleach as, “Hypnotic and righteous heaviness from these Olympia pop stars, They’re young, they own their own van, and they’re going to make us rich.”
