El frontman de Foo FIghters, Dave Grohl, ha confirmado los informes de que está haciendo una película acerca del estudio donde Nirvana grabó su álbum hito "Nevermind".
La estrella de REO Speedwagon, Kevin Cronin, reveló noticias del proyecto el año pasado, haciendo alusión a que será una parte del documental sin título del Sound City Studios, y ahora Grohl ha hablado sobre la película en la nueva edición de la revista Rolling Stone.
Dice, "cuando el Sound City cerró el año pasado, fue un día muy triste. Ese lugar era como una iglesia. La lista de personas que allí grabaron es como el Rock And Roll hall of fame. Grabamos Nevermind allá por el 1991.

Grohl continúa siendo tímido acerca de su debut como un documentalista pero, añade, "Se Esperan

Nirvana recorded landmark album Nevermind.
REO Speedwagon star Kevin Cronin revealed news of the project last year, hinting he’ll be a part of the untitled Sound City Studios documentary, and now Grohl has opened up about the film in the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
He says, “When Sound City closed last year, it was a very sad day. That place was like a church. The list of people that recorded there reads like a virtual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame… We recorded Nevermind there back in 1991.
“That funky old place had the best drum room in world. The drum sound at the beginning of Smells Like Teen Spirit – that’s Sound City.
“I decided to make a film about that feeling you get when you put five guys in a room, hit ‘record’ and the hair on the back of your neck stands up.”
Grohl is still being coy about his debut as a documentarian but he adds, “Expect some epic jam sessions.”
