In our record’s liner notes, we thanked the girlfriends of Mudhoney, TAD, and Nirvana. I said it as a joke, and [Sub Pop’s] Bruce Pavitt insisted that we put it in there. It was very much based on reality, though, except for Nirvana. Kurt’s girlfriend came up to me at one of our shows and said, ‘Why did you guys put that on the record? None of you have ever done me.’ (Laughs.) I said, ‘It was just to balance it out, honestly.’ It sounded better with Nirvana in there.

En nuestra trayectoria de notas, les dimos las gracias a las novias de Mudhoney, TAD y Nirvana. Yo lo dije como una broma y Bruce Pavitt de Sub Pop insistió en ponerlo allí. Estaba muy basado en la realidad,sin embargo, a excepción de Nirvana. La novia de Kurt se me acercó a uno de nuestros conciertos y dijo: Por qué pusisteis eso en la grabación? When [Cat Butt] were in New York, L7 were walking up ahead of us and all of a sudden the girls were being harassed by a group of Puerto Rican teenagers, all carrying backpacks. So Danny [Bland] and I step up to be the gentlemen and the protectors, and the kids whip hatchets out of their backpacks! One of the kids swings at Danny and breaks the bottom of his beer off. We were tripping on psychedelics, and at that point all the Cat Butt guys just started dying laughing. And then the girls started laughing. And then the guys with the hatchets started laughing. They put away their hatchets and walked away, laughing their heads off.

Cuando estuvimos en Nueva Yorkm L7, se estaban haciendo hueco y estaban por encima de nosotros, pero de repente las chicas estaba siendo acosados por un grupo de jóvenes de Puerto Rico. Así que Danny y yo pasamos a ser señores y protectos, y los chabales sacaron hachas de sus mochilas!. Uno de los chicos ¿zarandeó? a Danny y le rompió su cerveza. Nosotros estabamos drogados, y en ese momentos, todos los del grupo empezamos a morirnos de risa y las chicas hicieron lo mismo. Los chicos guardaron las hachas y se fueron, también riendo
