A principios de este mes, recibimos la noticia de que hombre jefe de Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, estaba grabando una canción con los miembros de la banda de hair metal de los 80s, Ratt: Stephen Pearcy de vocalista y guitarrista Warren DeMartini. Ahora, según Pearcy, el cantante y baterista de rock grunge está dispuesto a hablar sobre su única colaboración con los chicos de Ratt

Pearcy ha publicado una nota en su página oficial de Facebook con más detalles sobre la nueva asociación del rockero grunge y deja caer que pronto Grohl hablará con la Rolling Stone para dar más información

"Dave Grohl habla sobre el nuevo proyecto que ha sido un secreto en el que Warren y yo estamos involucrados con (y muchos otros artistas) en emitirlo en la Rolling Stone," dijo. "Comprobarlo fuera si tienes una oportunidad, te esperamos para que Dave lo ponga diga todo en la Stone

Earlier this month, we received word that Foo Fighters chief man Dave Grohl was recording a song with members of ’80s hair metal band Ratt: vocalist Stephen Pearcy and guitarist Warren DeMartini. Now, according to Pearcy, the grunge rock drummer and singer-songwriter is ready to speak out about his unique collaboration with the iconic 1980s hair metal guys.

Pearcy has posted a note on his official Facebook page with more details about the newfound grunge-rock partnership, and he drops the news that Grohl recently checked in with Rolling Stone to release more details.

“Dave Grohl speaks on the new project that has been under wraps that Warren and myself are involved with (and many other artists) in the new Rolling Stone Jan. 19, 2012 issue,” he said. “Check it out if you have a chance, we’ll wait for Dave’s camp to give the formal release.

“Dave brought an amazing song to Warren and myself to record. I wrote the first draft of lyrics and sang a rough vocal track. Warren laid down some basic guitar tracks, still lots to do. More TBA when it goes down. So there you have it!” Grohl has also been spotted recording with Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and others, so the looming project seem to carry many shades of sound.

Eddie Vedder went to my high school back in the ole’ days. And my school recently had a new and improved theater/musical department built and it was largely funded by Vedder. Tonight, we had a play and it was rumored he would show up. Unfortunately he had clashing plans. But his mother showed up, I felt kind of weirded out to meet her due to Ed’s past based on the song “Alive.” I am still hopeful for an appearance though because Eddie’s close friend came to the theater instead and I talked to him and he told me he might come and do a lil’ mini-concert to make up for his absence tonight. I thought this was relevant news to GrungeReport.net so ya fingers crossed on him coming.

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has revealed to fans that he has recorded a song with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

Taylor took to Twitter to say that he had just completed a song with Grohl and Nirvana producer Butch Vig. Posting at Twitter/CoreyTaylorRock, Taylor, who also performs with Stone Sour, wrote: "HUGE checks off the Bucket List today- did a song with Dave Grohl and Butch Vig. Do the words 'holy shit' say enough about it?!?"
