Del comunicado de prensa del Festival Rock Allegiance (que tendrá lugar el 1 de septiembre en Hershey, Pensilvania):
Encabezando el Energy Main (principal escenario) estarán los Stone Temple Pilots (STP), que celebrarán el XX aniversario de su álbum debut, Core. También es el primer espectáculo anunciado de 2012 para STP y Three Days Grace.

Stone Temple Pilots serán cabezas de cartel en el Rock Allegiance festival en Hershey, Pensilvania, en el Hershey Park Stadium el 1 de septiembre. Este es el primer show de la banda que han anunciado para 2012, su último show en vivo fue en noviembre de 2011.

Breve entrevista con el guitarrista de Stone Temple Pilots Dean DeLeo que está ahora en su página web (The Rat’s brief interview)
Cuando se le preguntó acerca de la nueva música de STP Dean dice, “Posiblemente, estamos sólo disfrutando de la vida familiar ahora y disfrutando de nuestros hijos.”
Cuando se le preguntó sobre el 20 aniversario de “Core”, ” Scott y yo estábamos hablando sólo hace un par de semanas, y nos gustaría ir allí a tocar Core en completo.” También bromeó que un libro de mesita de STP podría tener algunas fotos incriminatorias.

The Rat’s brief interview with Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo is now up on their website.
When asked about new STP music coming Dean said, “Possibly, we’re just kind of enjoying home life right now and enjoying our kids.”
When asked about Core‘s 20th anniversary, ““Scott and I were just talking a couple of weeks ago, and we’d like to go out there and perform [Core] in its entirety.” He also joked that an STP coffee table book might have some incriminating photos.

El guitarrista de Stone Temple Pilots Dean, DeLeo, llamó a WMMR el lunes, estaba en Filadelfia visitando a su novia. Dijo que había ido a aprender a tocar la batería y que desea participar en el concurso Building The Band de la estación de radio. El DJ fue tan tonto que no preguntó a Dean nada acerca de los progresos del nuevo álbum de STP.

Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo called into WMMR on Monday, he was in Philadelphia visiting his girlfriend. He said he’s been learning drums and might want to enter the station’s Building The Band contest. The DJ’s were so stupid that they didn’t ask Dean anything about the progress on STP’s new album or the Core 20th Anniversary reissue/tour.

Conozco a alguien que posee ese estudio de ensayo en Los Angeles y dijo que Stone Temple Pilots estaban allí. Creo que todos ellos están preparándose para una gira, pero lo más probable es un nuevo álbum. Intentaré que mi padre contacte más con él y así pueda darme más noticias
El estudio se llama Mates Rehearsal Studio según jjc19461 (El que lo puso en el foro). Pero bueno, ya sabéis, nunca os podéis fiar de los rumores, pero no estaría nada mal un nuevo disco de los Stone Temple Pilots

I know someone who owns this rehearsal studio at Los Angeles and he said Stone Temple Pilots were there. I think they either aer preparing for a tour, but it most likely is for the new album. Ill try to get my dad to contact him more so he can tell me the progress of the album/tour.

El batería Eric Kretz de Stone Temple Pilots tocó con miembros de Camp Freddy en el Saturday night en Los Angeles BAE & Telefunken All star Jam con Billy Morrison de Billy Idol y Chris Chaney de Jane's Addiction, Matt Sorum de Velvet Revolver y Guns N' Roses entre otros. No estoy seguro de que músicos estaban realmente en el escenario cuando tocó Kretz, pero hizo Vasoline y Feels Like Making Love.
