Eagle Rock va a lanzar un nuevo DVD de Velvet Revolver DVD ‘Let It Roll- Live In Germany.’ El concierto es del 29 de marzo de 2008 en Colonia, Jersey y fue uno de los espectáculos finales de la banda durante su gira Europea. El DVD será lanzado el 25 de mayo. Velvet Revolver lanzó su primer DVD en 2010, ‘Live InHouston’.

Eagle Rock are releasing a new Velvet Revolver DVD ‘Let It Roll- Live In Germany.’ The concert is from March 29, 2008 in Cologne, Jersey and was one of the band’s final shows during their final chaotic European tour. The DVD will be released on May 25th, just weeks before Stone Temple Pilots’ new live DVD. Velvet Revolver released their first DVD in 2010, ‘Live in Houston.’

No. We just did that thing for our friend who passed, for his wife and kids. I’d be surprised…you know what? I don’t even want to try and guess anymore. Who knows what’s gonna happen? I’m cool with anything, and if it feels right at the time, it’ll be the thing to do and we’ll talk about it then.

Q: Matt is it at all possible to make another VR record with Scott. Without extensive 2-3 year tours that can lead to problems maybe tour for a few months. I don’t see why Scott can’t do both STP & VR and the rest of you can do your thing! Please comment..


A: you never know , scott is a great frontman its just hard to be on the road sometimes when things dont flow

Después del set 2 dos canciones de Maroon 5, la gente estaba listas para la cabeza del cártel. Habiendose separarados en términos tan "difíciles" en medio de su gira de 2008, fue algo sorprendente que Kushner fuese capaz de reunir a sus compañeros de ex riñas. Nuevamente, tiempo aparte parecía haber curado cualquier problemas anteriores que existieron entre Weiland y todos los demás. Considerando que era su primera vez sobre el escenario juntos en casi cuatro años, eran buenas, pero no fue el desempeño del club trascendente que podría haber mejorado el legado de la banda.


Pero para disgusto de los fans que esperaban un set mayor, sólo tocaron cuatro canciones. Canciones como "Slither" y "Sucker Train Blues" sonaron bien, pero se sentía un poco de prisa. Final emotivo de la noche con la cancón de  Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" fue lo más destacado del set; un sombrío recordatorio del mensaje de la noche.


Como un espectáculo excepcional, el rendimiento del quinteto fue adecuado y sirvió para su propósito, pero si los fans están exigiendo una reunión en pleno derecho, es probable que está no ocurra. El grupo parecía contenido a tocar algunas canciones en la memoria de O'Brien y, a continuación, volver a sus respectivos proyectos individuales. A juzgar por el lenguaje corporal y la banda y el porte en el escenario, hay una mejor oportunidad  la vuelta de Guns N' Roses que la reunión de Velvet Revolver en otro concierto.

After Maroon 5′s two song set, people were ready for the headliners to take the stage. Having parted ways on such acrimonious terms in the middle of their 2008 UK tour, it was somewhat surprising that Kushner was able to reunite his bickering former bandmates. Then again, time apart seemed to have cured whatever previous problems existed between Weiland and everyone else. Considering it was their first time on-stage together in nearly four years, they were good, but it wasn’t the transcendent club performance that could have enhanced the band’s legacy.


But to the chagrin of fans who expected a longer set, the band only played four tunes. Songs like “Slither” and “Sucker Train Blues” sounded fine, but felt a bit rushed. The evening’s emotional finale of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” was the highlight of the set; a somber reminder of the night’s message.


As a one-off show, the quintet’s performance was adequate and served its purpose, but if fans are clamoring for a full-fledged reunion, it’s likely not happening. The group seemed content to play a few songs in O’Brien’s memory and then return to their respective individual projects. Judging by the band’s body language and on-stage demeanor, there’s a better chance Guns N’ Roses re-uniting than Velvet Revolver playing another show.

Velvet Revolver no están ensayando con Scott Weiland para el concierto de reunión

Slash mencionó hace unos días en el Show de Eddie Trunk que Velvet Revolver no están y ni lo harñan, ensayando para su concierto de reunión en Los Angeles, que se celebra esta noche. La única preparación que tendrán es en la revisión de instrumentos del mismo concierto. Scott Weiland y Velvet Revolver  se reunirán en 4 canciones en homenaje a John O'Brien

Slash mentioned a few days ago on the Eddie Trunk Show that Velvet Revolver have not, and will not, rehearse for their reunion show in Los Angeles, which takes place tonight. The only preparation they will have is soundcheck. Scott Weiland and Velvet Revolver plan on performing 4 songs at tonight’s John O’Brien tribute show.
