En un día como hoy pero de 1988 Mudhoney hace su primera presentación ante el público, abriendo para Das Damen y Blood Circus en el Vogue (Seattle)

En un día día como hoy pero de 2002, Layne Staley, cantante de la tremendamente popular e influyente banda Alice in Chains, es encontrado muerto en su apartamento en Seattle. Se fue con 34 años.  Un memorial se celebró en el Center International Fountain al día siguiente.

Spirit Of A Dog is going to record a new demo

Este grupo de Grunge español están preparados para meterse en el estudio a grabar una nueva maqueta. La nueva grabación está compuesta de 7 nuevos temas (todos propios de Spirit y esta vez creen que no meterán ninguna versión) siguiendo la linea de grunge del anterior trabajo pero tirando también al rock alternativo y al punk, les falta grabar las pistas de voces y coros y mezclar, masterizar… , pero ya se puede adelantar que tienen mucha mejor calidad de sonido(y musical) que la primera maqueta.

Aquí os dejo un ejemplo de cómo suenan:

This group of Spanish Grunge are ready to get into the Studio to record a new demo. The new recording is composed of 7 new songs (all of spirit and this time they are not going put any version) following the line of grunge of the previous work, but also pulling alternative rock and punk, already can advance that they have much higher quality of sound (and musical) to the first demo.

¿Estás esperando a ver a alguien en la line up del Splendour In The Grass?

Estaría feliz al ver el nombre de Jack White allí, simplemente creo que es uno de los más talentosos que hay hoy en día. Es el tipo de tío que da igual cómo sea que él va a ser siempre bueno,siempre va a hacer algo importante. No sé si vosotros le llamáis la generación posterior o dos generaciones pero es alguien que me hace sentirme vivo,  está siendo un innovador, un empresario y un creador que tiene un espíritu inquieto sobre su viaje musical, que es algo muy de respetar

I was happy to see Jack White’s name was on there, I just think he’s one of the most talented people out there. He’s the type of guy where it’s like he’s always gonna be good, he’s always gonna do something important. I dunno if you call him the subsequent generation or two generations down but he’s somebody I feel lived up to the level that a musician should, which is being an innovator, an entrepreneur, a creator, and he has a restless spirit about his musical journey, so I really respect him for that.
