Gossard dice que Pearl Jam se mantiene “en el proceso de hacer una grabación” con el productor Brendan o ‘ Brien. “Es demasiado pronto para decir lo que va a ser todavía,” observa Gossard, “pero hemos grabado algunas grandes canciones que hemos escrito y vamos a hacer algunas grabaciones más durante los próximos tres o cuatro meses y probablemente el registro saldrá con suerte el año que viene. No queremos hablar mucho antes de hacerlo porque tiene una tendencia a cambiar de dirección sobre mí. Estamos en ese proceso y nos lo estamos pasando muy bien y estamos tan entusiasmados como siempre haciendo música.

Gossard says Pearl Jam remains “in the process of making a record” with producer Brendan O’Brien. “It’s too early to tell what it’s going to be yet,” Gossard notes, “but we’ve recorded some great songs and we’ve written some more and we’re going to do some more recording over the next three or four months and most likely the record will come out hopefully next year. I don’t like to talk about it too much before it’s done because it has a tendency to change direction on me. We’re just in that process and we’re having a great time and are as excited as ever about making music.”
