Brian Marshall y Scott Phillips, bajista y batería de Alter Bridge, han comentado a Noise 11 que aunque habrá que esperar un tiempo para oír la continuación de “AB III” seguirá la senda de sus dos últimos discos.

“(A partir de ‘Blackbird’) todo el mundo empieza a encontrarse como músico y compositor y creo que es cuando el auténtico sonido de Alter Bridge se desarrolla,” cuenta Phillips.

“Creo que seguiremos yendo más allá. No está fuera de nosotros. Si sienta bien seguimos con ello. Si no, quizá a Slash le guste, quizá le guste al proyecto en solitario de Mark (Tremonti),” bromea Marshall.

Recientemente Slash se subía al escenario con el grupo en Australia. “Le pedimos si quería venir y tocar y le pareció genial,” comenta el batería. “Lo más guay era estar ahí con él en el camerino y que tener su guitarra al ado de mi mierda de bajo,” ríe Marshall.

“(From ‘Blackbird’) everyone starts finding as a musician and composer and I think that it is when the authentic sound of Alter Bridge takes place,” says Phillips.

Spinner ha informado que Billy Corgan afirmó que le “encantaría” ser juez en American Idol. Corgan también dijo, “no tengo ningún problema con ‘Idol’ o ‘X ‘Factor, tengo un problema con ellos cuando esas cosas no se dan en el tono contextual adecuado,” dijo. “Si hay un ‘American Idol’ debe existir un contrapeso alternativo adecuado — si hubo Hair Metal, hubo Grunge, sabes a lo qué me refiero?”

Como tal, Corgan dijo que él puede respetar shows como ‘American Idol’ para ser transparente en su objetivo, a diferencia de la música rock más moderna, que se refiere como a Laptop Rock,  debido a su habilidad para fusionar en el fondo mientras funciona.

“Laptor Rock no es la respuesta adecuada de ‘American Idol’, y todo el mundo lo sabe.”

Saludos! Mi nombre es Benny. Vuelvo a poner en venta la Melvan,  famosa en todo el  mundo. La razón por lo que he vuelto a venderla es porque he aprendido mucho de la primera subasta. Nunca me di cuenta de que mis  sueños más salvajes que tenía no iban a hacerse realidad. Para ser honesto era bastante abrumadora. En la subasta original no se contestaron algunas preguntas importantes. Esta vez serán respondidas todas las preguntas. A partir de este punto tengo un profesional de subastas ayudándome con esta venta. Había un montón de preguntas en el primer anuncio dirigidas a mi para saber por qué estoy vendiendo este pedazo de la historia del rock and roll y no lo estoy donando. I never realized in my wildest dreams that I would have gotten the response that I did. To be honest it was quite overwhelming. In the original auction some important questions were not answered. This time ALL questions will be answered. From this point forward I have an auction professional helping me with this re-listing. There were a lot of questions in the first listing that addressed why I am selling this piece of rock and roll history and not donating it. It is difficult for me to monetize something that is so dear to me. The reason I am selling The Melvan is because I am truly in a financial bind that the sale of the van could help get me out of. I have no other motives other than getting out of debt and saving my home.
