Sí, ya en mi anterior vídeo lo enseñé un poco por encima… en este aparte de enseñar todo lo que me vino con el disco por encima… hago una amplia exposición de dicho libreto o planfleto… este tampoco es que sea un gran vídeo, ya que está hecho en una sola toma, pero bueh, espero que os guste tanto como el otro

Hay un nuevo artículo en Business Week sobre Billy Corgan y surelación con la wrestling promotion Resistance Pro. Habla de la reunión de Billy con sus socios del Wrestling en un IHOP para crear historias para su compañía hace aproximadamente un mes:

“Harry Smith contra Rhino,” Jacques Lee una línea garabateada en un Post-it

“Yo tengo”, dice Corgan, sosteniendo un dedo índice en el aire. “Buen largo combate. Harry gana limpiamente. Rhino está algo disgustado. Y entonces totalmente inesperadamente… Rhino finalmente hace el Gore” Corgan claramente se deleita en la jerga. Un luchador no actua disgustado; él vende asco. Goring es la firma de Rhino , donde hace una especie de llave especial.

There’s a new article in Business Week about Billy Corgan and his professional wrestling promotion Resistance Pro. It talks about Billy meeting with his Resistance Pro partners at an IHOP to create storylines for his company about a month ago:

“Harry Smith versus Rhino,” Jacques reads from a lineup scrawled on Post-it notes.

“I got it,” Corgan says, holding an index finger in the air. “Good long match. Harry wins clean. Rhino kind of sells disgust. And then totally unexpectedly … Rhino finally gores him after the match.” Corgan clearly delights in the jargon. A wrestler doesn’t act disgusted; he sells disgust. Goring is Rhino’s signature move, where he knocks his opponent flat by turning himself into a human spear.

Alguien en eBay está intentando vender un programa del funeral de Layne Staley por 400 dólares.  Cada uno opina lo que quiera, para algunos puede parecer algo muy triste pero para otros ser algo bueno… En fin, que cada uno piense lo que quiera.

El 13 de abril se pondrá a la venta en iTunes el documental centrado en la figura de Patty Schemel, quien fuese batería de Hole desde 1992 a 1998 y que se estrenó el pasado año logrando reunir para un posterior coloquio a la formación más estable del grupo (Courtney Love, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Eric Erlandson y Patty Schemel).

En el trailer -que está disponible aquí y podéis ver a continuación- podemos oír algunas perlas de Courtney Love que merecen ser destacadas. “Kurt (Cobain) solía estar con nosotros porque odiaba a su banda. De verdad, odiaba a esos tíos. Eran realmente malos con él,” comenta en relación a Krist Novoselic y Dave Grohl.

Aparece también hablando con su hija Frances Bean, a muy temprana edad: “Estábamos preocupados por Papi, pensábamos que estaba muerto.”

Otra ya más habitual de Love: “Estaba hasta arriba de droga, no recuerdo demasiado.”

También se destaca una frase de Cobain, bromeando sobre su muerte: “Iré a por tabaco y no volveré jamás.”

The trailer for the new Hole/Patty Schemel documentary ‘Hit So Hard’ is now available on iTunes. There is a lot of juicy stuff in the trailer.  The film will be in theaters (limited) and on iTunes on April 13th.  Here are some quotes from the trailer

La segunda puja por la Melvan también fracasa

La Melvan no ha podido ser vendida por segunda vez en eBay. Esta vez la subasta empezó en $50.000 y no tenía ninguna reserva, pero no consiguió llegar a la puja. Al parecer la primera vez el postor superior que hizo una oferta fue de $99.000 pero tubo que rechazarla debido a la existencia de una reserva, así que el pago nunca se hizo afectivo a pesar de que el chico verdaderamente quería comprarla.

The Melvan has failed to sell for a second time on eBay. This time the auction started at $50,000 and didn’t have a reserve, but it didn’t get one bid. Apparently the first time around the top bidder bid $99,000 but there was miscommunication due to there being a reserve, so the payment never went through even though the guy intended on buying it.
