Courtney Love llama ladrón a Dave Grohl

Llevaba unos días sin hacer de las suyas pero la aparición de Hole en el SWU Festival de Paulínia, en Brasil, sirvió para que Courtney Love, volviera a mostrar su cara más desquiciada, informa Antiquiet. O quizá habría que decir, su cara habitual.


No mucho después de pedir a través del micro “un protector labial para mi irritada herpes” empezó una perorata en el que afirmó que casi todas las canciones de “Siamese Dream” y “Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness”, álbumes de The Smashing Pumpkins, las compuso Billy Corgan sobre ella. Indicó que la letra de “Dysarm”, “El asesino en mi es el asesino en ti”, salió de una carta que le mandó a Corgan.


Poco más tarde, y mientras enseñaba las tetas y afirmaba que podía usar la palabra “marica” porque es “un icono gay”, vio en el público a alguien con una foto de Kurt Cobain. En ese momento soltó un discursito donde Dave Grohl se llevó los palos: “Tu no estuviste casada con él, yo si. No te echó él de la banda como a Dave. Vete a ver a los putos Foo Fighters y les haces esa mierda.”


Tras ello, se marchó del escenario, momento en el que el guitarrista de Hole inquirió al público para que cantara “¡Foo Fighters son gays!”, lo que hizo volver a la Love. “Me da igual lo que escuchéis en casa,” exclamó a la concurrencia. “Pero si un tío le quita el dinero a mi hija, ¡que le den por culo!” La cantante añadió que Grohl gana “millones” y le “roba” a la hija de Cobain y Love. Su última andanada contra el ahora frontman de Foo Fighters: “Si no compones una canción, no tienes editora, no le robas dinero a la niña, la madre, la hermana.”

Mike MacCready dice que Pearl Jam volverá a trabajar en el nuevo disco en Marzo

Q:Los primeros tres álbumes fueron reeditados. ¿Y los demás, van a volver a ser reeditados también?


R: Es una buena pregunta. No sé  eso ahoramismo. Creo que vamos a tomar un descanso con lo de las reediciones. Pensé que íbamos a seguir haciendo, pero tal vez pasará otro año más antes de continuar con este proceso. Al final probablemente vamos a remasterizar todo y Brendan O'Brien  remezclará algunos álbumes. Pero en este momento estamos en el proceso de componer un álbum, tenemos siete canciones, (...) y vamos a trabajar en el resto de ellos el próximo año en marzo.


Q: The first three albums were reissued. What about the others, will they be reissued too?
A: It’s a good question. I don’t know about it right now. I think we’ll take a break with the reissues. I thought that we would keep doing it, but maybe it will take another year before continuing this process. At the end we’ll probably remaster everything and Brendan O’Brien will remix some albums. But in this moment we are in the process of composing an album, we have seven songs, (…) and we’ll work on the rest of them next year in March.
