Pearl Jam han donado 5.000 dólares para el centro de aprendizaje al aire libre de Ravenwood sin fines de lucro, aquí un extracto del artículo de FlatheadBeacon acerca de la donación:

La Fundación Vitalogy, creada en 2004, ayuda a los esfuerzos de organizaciones sin fines de lucro que trabajan para la salud de la Comunidad, el medio ambiente, artes y educación y cambio social. En la mayoría de las giras de Pearl Jam, 2 dólares de cada billete entran en la Fundación del grupo.

Holmquist dijo que el dinero de la subvención sería para ayudar a la Organización a satisfacer la creciente demanda para programas de verano del centro de aprendizaje. Ravenwood pretende conectar a la gente con la naturaleza a través de talleres y actividades al aire libre. La Asociación de educación ambiental de Montana lo llamaron el “negocio del año” en 2009

The Vitalogy Foundation, started in 2004, aids the efforts of nonprofit organizations working for community health, the environment, arts and education and social change. On the majority of Pearl Jam tours, $2 from every ticket goes into the group’s foundation.

Holmquist said the grant money would help the organization meet the rising demand for the learning center’s summer program. Ravenwood aims to connect people with nature through outdoor activities and workshops. The Montana Environmental Education Association named it the “Business of the Year” in 2009.

[Corgan] trabaja actualmente con Sean Evans, director creativo de la gira de “The Wall” de Roger Waters, en el diseño de un conjunto para la próxima gira de Smashing Pumpkins. Dice que se estará tocando “Oceanía”, que será lanzado en junio, en secuencia con el tour. “Tiene una cosa buena,” dice del álbum. Construir un set elaborado “parece ser algo importante que hacer”.

[Corgan] is currently working with Sean Evans, the creative director of Roger Waters’ “The Wall” tour, on the design of a set for the next Smashing Pumpkins tour. He says they will be playing “Oceania,” which will be released in June, in sequence on the tour. “It’s got a good prog thing to it,” he says of the album. Building an elaborate set “seems to be the proggy thing to do.”
